Sell us a lot.
If you own a lot in Houston, or a house that's past saving, write to us before it's listed. We'll answer within a day, and the number we give you is one we can stand behind.
What we buy
Vacant lots, teardowns and houses past saving, from about 2,000 sq ft, in the neighbourhoods we know.
We pay $300,000 to $2,000,000 for a lot and put one single-family house on it.

How it goes
Day one
You write to acquisitions@avenrockcapital.com with the address, a line about the situation, and an asking price or a sense of one.
Within 24 hours
We tell you whether it's for us. If it isn't, we say so, and why.
One number
We walk the lot and give you one price, in writing. The price we agree is the price at closing.
30 to 45 days
We close at a Houston title company, with our own money and bank financing. Nobody else has to approve the deal.
Questions we get
Do I need a broker to sell to you?
No. Write to us directly. If you have a broker, they get 3% of the purchase price at closing, written into the contract.
What if the house is still in good shape?
We buy lots, teardowns and houses that are past saving. A sound house is usually worth more to a family than to us, and we'll tell you that straight.
What do you pay for a lot?
Between $300,000 and $2,000,000, depending on the street and the size. The smallest lot we look at is about 2,000 sq ft.
Who is actually buying?
Avenrock, for itself. We're the developer, so there's no end buyer to find and no committee to wait for.
How do you pay?
Our own money and bank financing. One number in writing, and we close in 30 to 45 days at a Houston title company.
My lot is outside those neighbourhoods. Should I still write?
Yes. The list is where we are now, not a boundary. If the street has the same bones, write, and the answer takes a day.
Can I sell before the house is listed?
That's how we prefer it. Write to us before the sign goes up and you skip the showings.
